Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) – Remote Growth Process Mental Health Counseling | New York Pay: Approximately $46–$64 per completed session Growth Process Mental Health Counseling is an established and growing private practice serving adults throughout New York. We’re looking for a fully licensed LMHC to join our practice and build a flexible caseload doing meaningful clinical work. The Opportunity You establish your availability and can build a caseload that works alongside your professional and personal commitments. This opportunity may be particularly attractive for an LMHC who is working toward obtaining the New York State diagnostic privilege. For an eligible clinician pursuing the privilege, Growth Process Mental Health Counseling can provide weekly clinical supervision and the associated treatment planning with clinical oversight while you work toward completing the required supervised experience. We provide:

We have an established referral stream and are actively growing, although we don’t guarantee a specific number of referrals or caseload size.

Compensation

Approximately $46–$64 per completed session For clinicians receiving weekly supervision and clinical oversight toward the New York State diagnostic privilege, compensation is 55% of collected session revenue, currently approximately $46–$59 per completed session, depending on payer reimbursement. Once the required supervised experience and additional clinical oversight are no longer needed, compensation increases to 60% of collected session revenue, currently approximately $50–$64 per completed session. Clinicians who do not require diagnostic privilege supervision are eligible for the 60% compensation structure from the outset. Who We’re Looking For We’re looking for a therapist who is clinically thoughtful, dependable, and comfortable practicing with a high degree of independence. Our clients are adults of all ages who come to us with a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationships, life transitions, OCD, trauma, grief, substance use and recovery, stress, identity concerns, and other life challenges. Our practice works with a significant number of men, so an interest in men’s mental health is welcome. We value clinicians who are comfortable providing affirming care to clients of different backgrounds, identities, and sexual orientations. You don’t need to specialize in every population or clinical area we serve. We’re most interested in finding a strong therapist whose approach and values fit the practice. There will be opportunities to learn CBT and ACT skills.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted New York State LMHC license
• Professional liability insurance
• Ability to provide telehealth services to clients located in New York
• Strong clinical and documentation skills
• Comfortable working independently in a virtual private-practice environment
• LMHCs actively pursuing the New York State diagnostic privilege are strongly encouraged to apply
