Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Astrix is advertising a LIMS role focused on modernizing laboratory workflows through migration projects. The role develops and implements backend solutions, supports system implementations and integrations, and works with laboratory stakeholders to improve operations, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support LIMS migration projects and system implementations
- Design, configure, and build laboratory test codes, workflows, and integrations
- Develop and maintain backend solutions using SQL and C#
- Analyze complex laboratory processes and recommend scalable solutions
- Support API and interface development, including HL7 integrations
- Collaborate with laboratory stakeholders to ensure successful system adoption and performance
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline
- 5+ years of LIMS migration and development experience
- 3+ years of hands-on laboratory (bench) experience
- Experience functioning as a true LIMS Developer rather than a LIMS super user
- 3+ years with SQL query and database experience
- Experience with C#
- Familiarity with APIs and interfaces, including HL7
- Ability to work closely with migration teams and laboratory stakeholders to drive successful implementations
