[Remote] Machine Learning Engineer, Part-Time AI Model Development - Remote (United States)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. OpenTrain AI engages part-time machine learning engineers as independent contractors to support AI model development. The role involves designing and refining models, building data workflows, evaluating performance, and documenting technical recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine machine learning models in Python using scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Build data pipelines and preprocessing workflows for model training and inference
• Evaluate models, tune hyperparameters and benchmark performance
• Document experiments and turn model results into clear technical recommendations

Skills

• Strong practical experience delivering machine learning solutions, including model evaluation, feature engineering or data preprocessing
• Experience using Python, machine learning frameworks and MongoDB
• Professional fluency in English, with clear technical documentation and communication
