The Manager, Product Management - Control Electronics will lead a global Product Management team, driving product strategy, lifecycle execution, portfolio growth, profitability, and roadmap delivery across electronics platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing global Product Management team
- Translate market strategies into actionable product plans and priorities
- Own portfolio growth, profitability, pricing, and investment performance
- Drive execution of product roadmaps aligned to business and customer needs
- Oversee the full product lifecycle from concept through obsolescence
- Partner with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Market Managers to deliver customer-focused solutions
- Review business cases and major product investments to ensure strong returns and competitive differentiation
- Leverage customer insights and competitive intelligence to continuously improve the portfolio
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related technical field
- 10+ years' experience in Product Management within drives, controls and HVAC
- Proven experience overseeing Product Managers or cross-functional teams
- Strong track record of owning product P&L, delivering product growth and profitability and managing multi-product or platform portfolios
- Deep understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) and new product development (NPD) processes
- Strong technical acumen and ability to engage with engineering teams
- Travel requirement: ~20% (higher if remotely based)
- Master's degree or MBA
- Experience in global product organizations
- Experience managing platform-based product strategies
- Exposure to European market requirements and regulatory landscape
- Experience in portfolio optimization and platform standardization
