Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Engtal is an engineering-led design-build firm seeking a licensed Mechanical Engineer to deliver building upgrades and decarbonization projects. The role designs HVAC and mechanical building systems, leads technical calculations and equipment selection, assesses facilities for energy conservation opportunities, and collaborates with construction, estimating, and commissioning teams.
Responsibilities
- Design HVAC and mechanical building systems for new construction and retrofit projects
- Lead engineering calculations, equipment selection, and technical design using Revit and AutoCAD
- Conduct facility assessments and identify energy conservation opportunities
- Collaborate closely with in-house construction, estimating, and commissioning teams to deliver fully integrated projects
- Support decarbonization and net-zero initiatives for a diverse client base
Skills
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proven years of mechanical building systems design experience
- Strong HVAC design expertise with knowledge of relevant codes and standards
- Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and load calculation software
- Passion for sustainable design and improving building performance
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
