Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Prudent Technologies and Consulting, Inc. is hiring a Network Staging Engineer to support network staging and deployment work. The role focuses on networking equipment, physical infrastructure, and data center environments.
Skills
- CCNP-level networking knowledge or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong experience with routing, switching, VLANs, TCP/IP, OSPF, and BGP
- Experience with Layer 1 connectivity and physical network infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with network deployments and data center environments
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with networking equipment
- Experience with staging, deployment, or network operations environments
- Experience working in data center environments
- Strong knowledge of:
- Ethernet switching
- TCP/IP networking
- VLANs
- Routing fundamentals (OSPF, BGP)
- Network security fundamentals
- Experience with network vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or equivalent
- Familiarity with console access, terminal software, and remote management tools
- Experience using configuration templates and network documentation
- Juniper networking experience
- Network automation exposure using Python, Ansible, Git, ZTP, or NetBox
- Experience with global network environments
