[Remote] New Movies Journalist

The New Movies Journalist will write timely, high-quality news articles about current and new movies, develop original content ideas, and communicate with the Editorial Team.

Responsibilities

• Write news articles in ScreenRant’s house style following the training and peer mentorship period
• Cover current/new movies
• Brainstorm, pitch, and develop original content ideas
• Communicate actively with the Editorial Team

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, English Literature, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience working with a credible digital publication
• A broad working knowledge of the sector you're applying for
• A quick learner with a strong sense of urgency and drive
• An excellent writer in the English language free of grammatical and spelling errors
• The ability to write high quality articles with fast turnaround times
