Remote Nonprofit Fundraiser - Phone-Based
$19-$24/hour | Fully Remote | Saskatchewan
Build a Fundraising Career From Home
Being great on the phone is a real skill.
If you're the person who can make conversation easily, explain an idea clearly and keep someone engaged, Public Outreach wants to hear from you.
We're hiring Remote Phone Fundraisers in Saskatchewan to represent nonprofit organizations working on humanitarian, environmental and social-impact causes.
You'll have real conversations with people who have already shown an interest in the organizations you're representing and inspire them to become long-term monthly donors.
This is not cold calling. Your hourly wage is guaranteed - this is not commission-only work.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
During your shifts, you'll:
Speak with nonprofit supporters by phone
Learn about important social and humanitarian issues
Explain why those issues matter in a clear, relatable way
Ask questions and build genuine rapport
Tell compelling stories
Ask supporters to make recurring monthly donations
Handle objections and rejection professionally
Work toward clear fundraising goals
Receive regular feedback and coaching
Remote Doesn't Mean Casual
This is structured, performance-based work.
You'll be expected to be ready for your shifts, maintain a professional home workspace, actively make calls and work toward your fundraising goals.
You'll also hear "no" regularly.
Strong fundraisers learn from each conversation, take coaching seriously and keep their energy up when the last call didn't go their way.
Check Your Technology Before Applying
To work remotely, you need:
Windows 11+ desktop or laptop
Minimum 50 Mbps download / 30 Mbps upload internet
Wired headset with microphone
Private, quiet workspace
Reliable high-speed internet - wired Ethernet strongly preferred
