[Remote] Packaging Sales Representative

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Conner Industries, Inc. provides custom wood packaging and integrated packaging solutions for industrial markets. The Packaging Sales Representative will drive business growth by developing new business, managing the full sales cycle, securing custom protective packaging solutions, and overseeing customer accounts across the regional market and throughout the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Quickly understand and effectively communicate Conner's value proposition
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline while utilizing a CRM system to track and manage opportunities
• Develop and negotiate customized pricing contracts tailored to client needs
• Manage account profitability while maximizing expansion revenue opportunities
• Oversee the entire customer journey, from onboarding through the production cycle, ensuring a seamless and satisfactory experience
• Collaborate with sales and operations support teams to drive business success
• Demonstrate a track record of sales success and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Exhibit self-motivation, a strong desire to learn, and a passion for business development
• Effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks with keen attention to detail
• Develop and deliver compelling presentations to both small and large audiences
• Maintain an energetic, organized, and proactive approach to managing various projects and priorities

Skills

• • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pallet, container, protective packaging, or 3PL sales
• • Ability to travel up to 50% regionally, with occasional overnight travel as needed
• • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered
• • Coursework in business-related fields is a plus
• • Experience in complex manufacturing and service-based sales is advantageous
• • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas
• • Strong proficiency in presentations and computer skills
• • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Bachelor's degree preferred
