Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Rainforest is hiring a Payment Operations Intern for its PayOps team for the spring semester. The intern will manage operational data, address data quality issues, build reports, help draft customer support replies, and present a semester project.
Responsibilities
- Organize and manage the operational data our support team and AI support agent rely on
- Find and fix data quality issues, and help design processes that keep them from coming back
- Build basic reports that help the team see what's happening in the business
- Learn customer support from the ground up, drafting replies to platform questions under the guidance of our support lead
- Present your semester's work to the company at the end of your term
Skills
- Currently pursuing a business degree (or similar)
- Comfortable in Excel or Google Sheets
- Clear, careful writer
- Curious, coachable, and comfortable asking questions
- Interest in payments, fintech, or operations
- Experience using AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude for school or work
