[Remote] Principal Software Engineer

The company is seeking a product-minded Principal Software Engineer to own customer-facing products end to end, shape product and technical strategy, and build AI-native and agentic experiences. The role involves full-stack development, data-informed design, architecture, mentoring, and driving prototypes to reliable production systems at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own customer-facing product features end to end across the full stack — React/TypeScript front ends, backend services, and APIs — taking ambiguous problems all the way to shipped, measured outcomes
• Make architecture and technical decisions in service of user and business outcomes; let product goals drive the engineering, not the other way around
• Use telemetry and user behavior to shape design — define success metrics (north star and guardrails), instrument, monitor, run root-cause deep dives, and change your mind when the data says so
• Design and build AI-enabled and agentic experiences, integrating LLMs and AI workflows into products that reach millions of users
• Set technical direction for your team and influence product strategy, partnering closely with product managers, designers, and platform teams
• Raise the engineering bar through code, design reviews, coaching, and mentoring — leading by craft as a senior individual contributor
• Find the highest-leverage problems in ambiguous spaces, prototype quickly, and drive prototypes to production-grade quality, reliability, and performance at scale

• We're looking for product-minded Principal Engineers. This is a hands-on P60 individual-contributor role for engineers who sit at the seam between deep technical craft and sharp product judgment — and can hold both at once
