Remote Position
[Remote] Product Designer (Future Openings)
🌍 Remote · United States
💼 Full-time
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Pogo is seeking its second Product Designer to lead product design and creative direction for a consumer insights product connecting brands and retailers with purchase-verified consumers. The role designs experiences for a B2B platform and consumer app, and helps shape the product roadmap and design systems.
Responsibilities
- Design core product experiences end-to-end, from early exploration through launch and iteration for our up-and-coming B2B platform and consumer app with 3 million users (and growing)
- Craft polished, delightful interfaces that build trust and showcase the power of our data and AI technology
- Sweat the details - layout, typography, spacing, color, motion, interactions
- Help define the product roadmap and lay the foundations for our design language, systems, and culture
- Find creative ways to ship high-quality work in a fast-paced, often ambiguous, startup environment
- Be 1 of 2 designers (for now), working cross-functionally with engineering and GTM
- You’ll use qualitative interviews and direct customer feedback to shape product decisions and design solutions tailored to enterprise needs
- As one of our early team members, you'll play a huge role in defining our culture, processes and traditions
Skills
- Experience designing software products
- You design quickly and efficiently, using Figma to gain super powers and reach “escape velocity design”
- When needed, you make near-term tradeoffs and take shortcuts - even though you have strong design vision and awareness of how to improve the product later
- You have a very high bar for design quality and strong opinions about what “great” looks like
- You actively seek out the best-designed best products/designers, constantly collecting references from Twitter, Mobbin, and beyond
- And you bring that level of rigor and polish into your own work
- You actively use LLMs like as ChatGPT or Claude in your design workflow
- You're relentless in pursuing the best solution - willing to explore, iterate, and even scrap a lot of your own work if it means creating a stronger product
- You're a full-stack designer
- You've designed experiences from scratch and know how to bring it to life working cross-functionally with product and engineering
- You have strong product intuition and have a knack for creating experiences that index on simplicity and clarity
- At the same time, you're willing to re-consider your initial intuition as you get more user data
- Bonus if you've done this at a startup, or have designed AI interactions before!
- Bonus if you have experience designing enterprise-grade products
Benefits
- Equity
- Flexible work schedule
- Unlimited PTO
- Minimum 20 days vacation policy
