Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Medasource is recruiting for an unnamed client, a custom software and product development company. The Product Manager will lead execution of digital product initiatives, translating business needs into product requirements and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver enhancements aligned with product strategy and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead execution of assigned digital product initiatives from planning through implementation
- Translate business and customer needs into actionable product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation
- Partner with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to deliver product enhancements and new capabilities
- Support product discovery, roadmap execution, backlog management, and release planning for assigned products
- Evaluate technical solutions, third-party platforms, and system integrations to support product objectives
- Manage product backlogs, delivery milestones, risks, and dependencies for assigned initiatives
- Monitor product performance, analyze results, and recommend improvements based on data and user feedback
- Coordinate product releases, implementation activities, and post-launch validation
- Communicate product progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery status to stakeholders
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of product management processes and practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 3–5 years of experience in a product management role
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, or similar)
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Experience leading execution of product initiatives from planning through implementation
- Ability to translate business and customer needs into actionable product requirements, user stories, and documentation
- Experience partnering with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to deliver product enhancements and new capabilities
- Ability to evaluate technical solutions, third-party platforms, and system integrations
- Strong skills in backlog management, release planning, and risk management
- Proficiency in monitoring product performance, analyzing results, and recommending improvements
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder updates and coordination
