[Remote] Project Controls Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Gridworks is a leading EPC contractor for utility-scale solar and battery storage projects. The Project Controls Manager will support project management teams by overseeing schedules, costs, resources, reporting, and analysis to keep projects on track, within budget, and meeting objectives.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead and support project management teams with:
• Preconstruction planning & quantity takeoffs
• Budget creation & management
• Change management & claims
• Cost analysis & forecasting
• Progress updates & performance analysis surrounding earned value management concepts
• Project-specific and company-wide reporting requirements
• Schedule performance & time-impact analysis
• Compiling, reviewing and analyzing project controls related data while interfacing with upper management and project teams on results and providing innovative solutions to scheduling & cost performance
• Train project management in the use of other Project Controls processes, tools & reporting
• Prepare project progress billings
• Assist with proposal budget reviews & cash flows
• Develop processes & procedures as assigned
• May require some travel to project sites
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• Qualifications: EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related field, Master's Degree is a plus * 5+ years of project controls, cost, scheduling & planning or related work experience KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: * High proficiency in Microsoft Excel * Organizational skills and ability to manage simultaneous tasks/assignments * Exceptional team building skills and ability to collaborate with groups throughout the company * Excellent interpersonal skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to manage complex assignments & multiple projects * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Experience in CMiC preferred * Experience in Procore preferred * Experience in Power-BI preferred * Experience in P6 Professional preferred
