[Remote] Project Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Alt League is hiring a contract Project Manager to lead high-volume, end-to-end creative production from kickoff through final delivery. The role manages client communication, project plans, budgets, creative and production resources, review processes, and asset trafficking.

Responsibilities

• Client Services Partner: Work hand in hand with the VP of Client Services and Account Director on day-to-day project needs, with the agility to support other workstreams as needed
• Own the Plan: Build the plan to get the work done based on a clear view of resources and constraints, then keep the team on track against it
• Flawless Production : In partnership with an agency Producer and Post-Producer, manage the asset creation process from prep through media trafficking. Ensure a smooth delivery of all final assets and campaign deliverables, organized for easy access by clients and partners
• The Bridge: Connect client objectives with our team’s process, setting clear expectations on both sides so ambitious ideas stay on time and on budget
• Remote Leadership: Lead by example in our digital-first culture. You navigate Text, Zoom and Google Docs with clarity and empathy, maintaining team momentum without the need for an office
• Serve as the main point of contact for the client’s project manager, with prompt responses and clear expectations
• Build and maintain project plans, timelines and status reports so every milestone is met
• Track budgets and report on finances, flagging potential overages or changes early
• Coordinate internal and external resources so creative and production teams have the assets and clarity they need
• Run efficient review and approval processes, with rigorous version control and quality assurance
• Own media trafficking, making sure assets are delivered to clients and media partners accurately and on time
• Spot bottlenecks and risks early, and propose practical solutions to keep work moving

Skills

• You have 5–8 years of agency project management or production experience, including recent work on large-scale productions
• You've logged lots of time with different project management software and are comfortable getting up to speed with new platforms quickly
• You bring order to chaos
• You see past the messy parts of the creative process and stay focused on the deliverables and the most efficient way to get there
• You stay calm under pressure
• You absorb client demands and feedback, turning them into clear plans and next steps without passing the stress on to the team
• You protect the team's “maker space.”
• You thrive at high speed and can re-plan mid-stream when the client needs change, without losing momentum or clarity
• You don't just "know" about AI; you are eager to use it
• You see it as a way to elevate the work and empower the team
• You have a deep appreciation for "Traditional" craft (film/OOH) but a native understanding of "Modern" ecosystems (social/creator/digital)
• You thrive in an environment that prizes autonomy and intentionality across a variety of workstreams
