Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Colony Construction is growing its industrial and heavy industrial construction operations across Canada. The company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee structural steel and/or PEMB projects from award through closeout, including budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractors, documentation, client communication, and field coordination.
Responsibilities
- Budget, forecasting and project financials
- Schedule and overall project delivery
- Structural steel, PEMB and supporting trade scopes
- Subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
- Procurement
- RFIs, submittals, shop drawings and project documentation
- Contracts, purchase orders and change management
- Client communication
- Coordination with Superintendents and field teams
- Turnover and closeout
Skills
- Direct structural steel and/or PEMB project experience
- PM-level responsibility
- Industrial or heavy industrial construction exposure
- Budget and schedule accountability
- Experience managing subcontractors and suppliers
- Strong drawings/specifications and construction documentation knowledge
- Enough project ownership to work independently
- Experience with civil, concrete, mechanical and electrical coordination is helpful
