Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. HyperStrong International USA Corp delivers Battery Energy Storage System projects and is seeking a Project Manager for its PTO project management team. The role supports end-to-end BESS project execution, coordinating schedules, stakeholders, vendors, site activities, documentation, reporting, compliance, and customer communication.
Responsibilities
- Lead or support end-to-end execution of BESS projects from project kickoff through commissioning and handover
- Coordinate project schedules, deliverables, and milestones in collaboration with internal teams and external partners
- Track project progress, risks, and issues; escalate concerns to the Senior Project Manager as needed
- Support project documentation, reporting, and changing management processes
- Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics and Service teams to ensure alignment
- Assist with vendor and subcontractor coordination, including tracking deliverables and timelines
- Coordinate site-related activities, including preparation for delivery, installation, commissioning, and acceptance testing
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, safety standards, and company procedures
- Prepare regular project status reports for internal stakeholders and management
- Support customer communication on a daily basis
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field
- 2–5 years of project management or project coordination experience
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with global teams
- Fluency in English is required
- Experience with BESS, renewable energy, battery, PCS, EMS, power systems, or EPC projects is a strong plus
- Basic understanding of energy storage systems, power electronics, or utility-scale energy projects preferred
- Familiarity with project management tools is a plus
- Proficiency in Chinese Mandarin is a strong plus
- Knowledge of contract basics, change orders, and project controls
- PMP certification is a plus but not mandated
