[Remote] Project Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Optomi, in partnership with a leading telecommunications and Internet service provider, is seeking a BSW Project Manager to optimize buried service wire-based functions and improve operational efficiency. The role manages contractors across multiple states, coordinates field operations and stakeholders, resolves customer escalations, and tracks project performance through completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support 1–4 buried service wire (BSW) contractors across multiple states
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer BSW escalations and jeopardy issues
• Conduct regular meetings with BSW contractors to monitor performance and increase the percentage of drops completed before their due dates
• Coordinate activities between contractors, field personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of BSW installations
• Track buried service wire drop tickets, permits, deadlines, and project progress through completion
• Hold contractors and vendors accountable for deadlines, quality standards, and performance expectations
• Manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail
• Use Microsoft Excel and other project-tracking tools to monitor performance, analyze data, and support decision-making

Skills

• 5+ years of experience in telecommunications
• Experience coordinating projects, vendors, contractors, or field operations
• Experience managing multiple priorities, deadlines, permits, or work orders simultaneously
• Experience identifying operational challenges and implementing solutions to improve efficiency and project outcomes
• Experience holding vendors or external partners accountable to deadlines and quality expectations
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including using spreadsheets to track, organize, and analyze project and operational data
