Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Earlston Academy is seeking an experienced QA Automation and Software Testing Engineer to join its instructor network for remote, cohort-based training. The instructor will create course content, lead live online sessions, teach practical testing and automation concepts, develop hands-on projects and assessments, and mentor students with technical feedback.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain QA automation and software testing course content
- Lead engaging live online sessions for assigned cohorts
- Teach practical software testing and quality engineering concepts
- Develop hands-on testing projects, automation exercises, and assessments
- Demonstrate real-world testing frameworks, tools, and automation workflows
- Teach students how to design, execute, and maintain automated test suites
- Mentor students and provide constructive technical feedback
- Keep course content current with evolving QA, testing, automation, and AI technologies
Skills
- Currently working as a QA Engineer, SDET, Software Test Engineer, Automation Engineer, or closely related role
- 7+ years of professional experience
- Current, relevant QA, testing, automation, cloud, or technology certification(s), where applicable
- Strong professional experience with automated and manual software testing
- Strong experience with testing frameworks, APIs, CI/CD, and modern development workflows
- Experience with programming or scripting languages used for test automation
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to students
- Reliable computer, webcam, microphone, and internet connection
- Teaching, mentoring, or technical training experience is preferred
