Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Brillio, a digital technology services provider, is hiring a QA Engineer. The role focuses on software quality through test planning and execution, automation, bug investigation, and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify weaknesses and problem areas in the software application
• Work closely with development, operations, support, business partners and other stake holders to ensure timely collaboration and resolution
• Work independently under minimal guidance
• Identify use cases/scenarios, create test cases, prioritize test cases, execute test cases, and generate reports to report to stakeholders
• Tracking software bugs and investigating the causes
• Preparing automation scripts
• Troubleshooting automation software issues
• Creating test plans and test summary reports
• Executing regression and exploratory testing as necessary
• Performing functional and end to end testing
• Maintaining the automation suite
• Test data creation for automation
• Submitting Pull Requests
• Understand software internals, debug problems, and automate repetitive tasks
• Analysis of the automation reports (Extent and Cucumber)
• Trigger the automation suite as necessary

Skills

• Java, Selenium, Automation, API, Mobile testing
• Selenium with Java, Cucumber framework, automation frameworks to integrate backend with RESTful API's, Saucelab, Flyway, Bitbucket, Gitlab, Jenkins, Maven
