Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is seeking an experienced QA Test Engineer for a large-scale healthcare cloud migration program. The role focuses on application, infrastructure, security, and cutover testing during migration from on-premises environments to Azure, including defect management, test documentation, compliance evidence, and collaboration with technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute functional, integration, performance, and security test plans
- Support application and infrastructure migration testing across multiple waves
- Perform cutover, rollback, and parallel-environment testing
- Validate data integrity, system integrations, and security controls
- Manage defects and support go/no-go readiness decisions
- Maintain test documentation and compliance evidence
- Partner with QA, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and application teams
Skills
- 8+ years of QA/testing experience
- Experience with data center or cloud migrations, preferably on-prem ? Azure
- Infrastructure/security testing experience
- Healthcare or other regulated-industry experience preferred
- Familiarity with test automation tools/frameworks
- Strong defect management and test documentation experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Azure experience/certification
- Experience with formal governance or security review processes
