Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Lawrence Harvey is recruiting for an unnamed US-based consumer goods manufacturer. The SAP TM Solution Engineer will own the company’s SAP Transportation Management environment, resolve system challenges, deliver enhancements, streamline transportation operations, and prepare SAP TM capabilities for a future S/4HANA transformation.
Responsibilities
- This role will take full ownership of a complex SAP TM environment, acting as the go-to specialist for transportation technology across the business
- Working closely with cross-functional teams, they will solve complex system challenges, deliver enhancements, streamline transportation operations and drive improvements across a highly customized SAP landscape
- The position will also focus on shaping the future of the organization's SAP TM capabilities ahead of its eventual S/4HANA transformation
Skills
- US Citizens and Green Card Holders only
- 5+ years of SAP TM implementation, configuration and support experience
- Demonstrable experience leading full end-to-end SAP TM implementations (should have done 2+)
- Strong techno-functional capabilities across debugging, enhancements, configuration and integrations
- Experience across transportation planning, freight management, carrier selection and settlement
- SAP integrations with SD, MM, EWM and external applications
- MileMaker/Forkite experience advantageous
- Technical knowledge of ABAP, BOPF, BRF+, OData, Fiori/UI5 or SAP PI/PO/CPI desirable
