[Remote] SCADA Integration Architect- MES/MOM Remote

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SARACA is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Digitalization Engineer on a contract basis to digitize and optimize manufacturing processes for global customers. The role analyzes production workflows, develops and implements digital manufacturing solutions, and supports deployment, integration, troubleshooting, documentation, and team mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing existing production workflows, identifying opportunities for digital transformation, and implementing data-driven solutions to improve efficiency, traceability, and quality
• Developing digital manufacturing strategies, configuring and integrating relevant tools and systems, supporting the deployment of manufacturing execution and monitoring solutions, and documenting best practices and standards
• Collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements, troubleshooting issues in digitalized production environments, and mentoring team members on manufacturing digitalization methodologies and tools

Skills

• Strong foundation in manufacturing processes, including experience optimizing production workflows and applying continuous improvement methodologies
• Proficiency in manufacturing engineering and industrial engineering, with the ability to translate operational needs into digital solutions and system requirements
• Background in mechanical engineering, with practical understanding of product design, assembly, and production constraints
• Exposure to machining processes and related production technologies, including tooling, CNC operations, and process validation
• Experience with manufacturing digitalization tools and concepts (e.g., MES, digital twins, data analytics, IIoT) and integration with ERP or PLM systems
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
• Experience in regulated or high-precision industries (such as MedTech, aerospace, or automotive) and familiarity with quality and compliance standards
