[Remote] Senior Accountant - Remote

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. S+H Search is recruiting for a growing company seeking a Senior Accountant to manage accounting operations, financial reporting, and inventory reconciliations. The role also supports planning, audits, internal controls, and process improvements in partnership with leadership and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activities and maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Perform account reconciliations including inventory reconciliations
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
• Support payroll, expense reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Assist with cash flow analysis and provide meaningful financial insights
• Coordinate audit activities and maintain effective internal controls
• Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to support business decisions
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of manufacturing accounting experience with strong general ledger expertise
• Solid understanding of GAAP, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and strong Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills
• A collaborative, positive personality and the ability to thrive in a growing business environment
• Experience in manufacturing is required
• Cost accounting experience
