[Remote] Senior Analyst, Business Analytics

The Senior Analyst, Business Analytics maintains and validates item-related master data supporting Mail and Specialty pharmacy operations, executes reports, and supports data cleansing, capital projects, and system enhancements. The role also mentors team members and manages process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining item related master data in various systems (SAP, SPOMS, SPARCS, and SPRx) supporting Mail and Specialty pharmacy operations
• The Senior Analyst collaborates closely with internal business partners including Brand/Generic Contracting, Pharmacy Operations, and Pharmacy Procurement to validate and execute master data add/change requests
• In addition, the Senior Analyst is responsible for executing daily, weekly and monthly reports utilized to ensure purchase price accuracy, validate strategic system data, and support data cleansing routines
• Supporting capital projects and system enhancement efforts (e.g. data setup, test scenario documentation/execution, data migration/implementation)
• Performing basic ad hoc data analyses
• Serves as a mentor to the team's Analysts and Associates
• The Senior Analyst also acts as the department documentation steward
• Creating/maintaining work instruction and process flow documentation
• Facilitating related discussions

Skills

• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is required (e.g. ability to use functions to write formulas, ability to write macros, etc.)
• The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, task driven, and have strong communication and organizational skills
• College degree or demonstrated work experience in line with requisite job responsibilities is required
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification is preferred
• Working knowledge of SAP is preferred
• Working knowledge of Sharepoint is preferred
• Working knowledge of data querying tools such as MS Access is preferred
• Working knowledge of VBA is preferred
• A basic understanding of the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) business and pricing models is preferred
