Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Associa is seeking a Senior Angular Software Engineer to join its development team supporting the Community Archives document resale platform. The role will build, modernize, and enhance Angular web applications while collaborating through pair programming, code reviews, and Scrum practices.
Responsibilities
- Participate in pair programming to develop and troubleshoot solutions
- Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and development standards
- Engage in Backlog Refinement to review, plan, and estimate upcoming work
- Participate in Sprint Planning and daily Standups to align priorities and identify blockers
- Demonstrate completed features during Sprint Reviews to team members and internal stakeholders
- Work with developers across teams and time zones to resolve technical challenges and support sprint goals
- Proactively identify technical issues, communicate blockers, and recommend effective solutions
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement and modernization of the Angular application, including future Angular upgrades
Skills
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong hands-on experience developing applications using Angular
- Experience working with monorepo architectures
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in pair programming and distributed team environments
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to demonstrate completed features to internal stakeholders
- Experience with Nx or another monorepo tool is preferred
- Experience with AWS and deploying Angular applications is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred
