Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dice is seeking a Senior Cloud AWS Engineer to support and manage AWS cloud infrastructure and enterprise environments. The role focuses on AWS operations, Infrastructure as Code, automation, security, monitoring, documentation, Agile collaboration, and on-call support.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support AWS cloud infrastructure and enterprise environments
- Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), scripting, and automation
- Support AWS application development tools and cloud environment configurations
- Develop procedures and documentation for AWS best practices and operational processes
- Support security requirements across various AWS environment scenarios
- Monitor and troubleshoot AWS environments and infrastructure
- Collaborate with team members through Agile ceremonies and practices
- Participate in an on-call rotation
Skills
- Advanced experience with AWS operations and cloud infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with AWS application development and Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, Go, Python, and GitLab/CI/CD
- Experience with AWS scripting, automation, and monitoring
- Strong technical background in Linux environments and AWS Lambda/serverless technologies
- Understanding of networking concepts
- Experience developing and documenting AWS cloud best practices and operational procedures
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale AWS environments
- Experience with cloud security and secure infrastructure configurations
- Experience working in an Agile environment
