[Remote] Senior Cloud & Platform Systems Engineer (Remote)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Tuknik Government Services, a Koniag Government Services company, is hiring a Senior Cloud & Platform Systems Engineer to support the company and its government customer. The role architects, secures, and operates cloud infrastructure and containerized platforms, including Kubernetes workloads in AWS, while supporting system hardening, application delivery, observability, and security monitoring.

Responsibilities

• In this role, the candidate will be responsible for deploying and managing resilient Kubernetes workloads and infrastructure within Amazon Web Services (AWS), ensuring end-to-end operational readiness and high availability
• The ideal engineer will enforce robust system hardening and governance by authoring and implementing Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and adhering strictly to Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance baselines across all environments
• Additionally, the role entails automating the packaging and delivery of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications while designing and integrating comprehensive observability frameworks—linking platform telemetry with SIEM solutions to ensure robust real-time monitoring, security auditing, and rapid incident response
