[Remote] Senior Consultant, Performance Improvement - Advisory Services (Epic Healthy Planet)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Nordic Global is hiring a Senior Consultant for its Performance Improvement practice within Strategic Advisory Services. The role supports healthcare clients by delivering advisory solutions, analytical and financial work, workflow design, and Epic Healthy Planet implementations focused on population health and value-based care.

Responsibilities

• Partner with PI team members to implement advisory solutions and demonstrate the value of the solution throughout the client engagement
• Collaborate with project leadership to develop and maintain project management artifacts including but not limited to workplans, status reports, decision and risk logs
• Create complex analytical models to drive unique solutions to complex healthcare problems
• Develop detailed financial analysis, statistical reports, visualizations, and presentations for both internal team and client review
• Facilitate client interviews and meetings
• Conduct detailed analyses to identify specific opportunities for improvement, as well as implementation recommendations
• Consistently deliver work products that are high-quality and client-ready
• Contribute to practice knowledge capital and tool development
• Develop and update related work plans, issue logs, status reports, and related initiative trackers
• Review and validate conducted analyses and client deliverables before submission
• Complete quality reviews on team member work products before delivery to client personnel, validating team member findings and observations, and corroborate team member process improvement and analytic activities
• Design, build, configure, and implement application workflows that support care management, quality reporting, patient engagement, and cross-continuum coordination
• Work directly with end users and leaders to monitor workflows, support adoption, and recommend optimization opportunities tied to population health and value-based care outcomes
• Lead client-facing meetings regarding ongoing work-product coordination, project status, and strategic opportunities to improve performance across quality and value-based programs
• Collaborate with internal leadership and EHR architects on solution design and delivery that supports scalable population health capabilities
• Mentor junior resources

Skills

• 5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry (e.g., healthcare organization, consulting) preferably within hospital administration (e.g., finance, supply chain, HR, decision support, informatics) or revenue cycle (e.g., registration/patient access, HIM, coding, revenue integrity or billing/follow-up/denials management), or Value-Based Care
• Strong communication skills (i.e., excellent listener, comfortable speaking to groups, able to drive client meetings)
• Collaborative work style (e.g., able to work with business, technical and clinical resources)
• Creativity and critical thinking in solving complex problems
• Strong presentation development skills (e.g., translating data to information, identifying themes, storyboarding)
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
• Ability to balance multiple assignments at the same time
• Attention to detail and able to quickly pivot assignments based on changing priorities
• Current Epic Certification in Ambulatory, Healthy Planet, Compass Rose, and/or Value-Based Analytics
• Strong expertise using Microsoft Office products
• Demonstrated knowledge using some of the following tools: GenAI Assistants (CoPilot)
• Demonstrated knowledge using some of the following tools: Analytical (PowerBI, Tableau)
• Demonstrated knowledge using some of the following tools: Programming languages (SQL, Python)
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Preference in data sciences, finance, business, healthcare administration or related field
