Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dice is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to lead the end-to-end delivery of complex AI/ML business solutions. The role combines software and data engineering, architecture, consulting, customer engagement, technical decision-making, and leadership of internal and customer-facing teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex AI/ML solutions
- Work directly with customers and operational stakeholders to understand business challenges
- Translate ambiguous requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions
- Drive architecture and technical design decisions
- Design solutions even when requirements are incomplete or evolving
- Ensure solutions are production-ready, maintainable, and portable
- Influence technical and business discussions with executives and engineering teams
- Mentor and guide internal and customer teams
- Challenge assumptions and provide strong technical judgment
- Collaborate across software engineering, data engineering, architecture, and business teams
Skills
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong software engineering and system architecture experience
- Experience working with AI/ML or modern technology solutions
- Strong ability to solve complex and ambiguous business problems
- Experience translating customer/business requirements into technical solutions
- Strong architectural and technical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to influence and lead discussions without direct authority
- Experience working with senior executives and technical leadership
- Strong customer-facing and consulting mindset
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
