[Remote] Senior Full Stack NodeJS Engineer - (AWS, Javascript) - W2 Role

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Kellton is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to develop and support cloud-based web applications. The role focuses on building, testing, deploying, and maintaining NodeJS and AWS microservices solutions, developing automated test suites, monitoring full-stack systems, and coordinating with engineering and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Designs, Builds, tests, deploys and maintains production code for complex web-based applications using Cloud technologies and micro-services with AWS services
• Develops comprehensive test plans and automation test suites
• Demonstrated experience in developing and monitoring full stack solutions with microservice architecture using NodeJS
• Responsible for support of and coordinating with other Engineers, Architects and teams including other technology teams such as a User Experience team or an infrastructure team
• High analytical skills and knack to develop and montor tools for High frequency web apps and data services
• Experience working on Agile teams with the scrum team member attitude – willingness to support the Team to be successful in any area necessary
• Experience building infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation or similar scripting techniques

Skills

• Expert level experience in NodeJS and scripting in a Cloud based environment
• Advanced level of experience with React & UI frameworks, tools and technologies
• Demonstrated advanced experience with AWS Lambda, SNS/SQS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, RDS and DynamoDB, AWS CICD/CDK devops
• Demonstrated experience in developing and monitoring full stack solutions with microservice architecture using NodeJS
• Effective communication skills are a must along with a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to clearly discern client needs
• Fundamentals in OO and computer science foundation principles
• Bachelor's degree and/or other advanced degree(s)
• Relevant AWS or other professional certifications
• High analytical skills and knack to develop and montor tools for High frequency web apps and data services
• Advanced demonstrated experience with AWS cloud supported programming languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python
• Experience with relational databases, and NoSQL databases
• Experience building infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation or similar scripting techniques
