Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SoTalent is recruiting for a Senior Information Security Analyst role focused on enterprise security data products and global security operations. The position leads cybersecurity data engineering, cloud security, automation, security analytics, risk remediation, compliance, and technical mentoring.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery and lifecycle management of enterprise security data products, including data lakes, Azure Data Factory and Databricks
- Apply AI and stochastic optimisation techniques to security data to generate actionable insights
- Drive security efficiencies through automation, orchestration and process optimisation
- Architect and implement secure, automated and integrated solutions supporting security operations and business initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, assess and remediate security risks
- Develop and execute security test plans, validate controls and improve system stability without disrupting business operations
- Ensure security practices align with regulatory and industry frameworks, including NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, Zero Trust and GDPR
- Participate in architecture reviews, change management and strategic planning
- Support vulnerability management and security analytics initiatives
- Communicate complex security risks and recommendations to business stakeholders
- Mentor junior team members and act as a technical resource across the organisation
Skills
- Master's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Data Engineering or a related field, plus 5+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, plus 7+ years of relevant experience
- 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
- Strong experience with data engineering tools including Azure Data Factory and Databricks
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with system and network security across Windows, Linux and Unix environments
- Experience in vulnerability management, penetration testing and secure architecture design
- Ability to communicate complex cybersecurity risks in clear business terms and influence decision-making
- 3+ years of experience with vulnerability management data and business intelligence
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- 100% remote within the United States
