Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Accion Labs is recruiting for an unnamed direct client seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Developer. The role focuses on developing Java and Spring Boot backend services, Kafka-based event-driven systems, and React interfaces, while integrating APIs and delivering scalable, secure applications with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Implement and manage event-driven systems using Kafka or equivalent technologies
- Build responsive, reusable, and dynamic user interfaces using React JS, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Integrate front-end applications with backend REST APIs and enterprise data services
- Collaborate with IT teams to incorporate security best practices, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, or JWT-based authorization
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver new features
- Analyze and optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability
- Develop unit and integration tests and support CI/CD and automated deployment processes
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, mentoring, and knowledge sharing
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and deliver solutions
Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of professional software development experience, including strong full-stack development experience
- Strong hands-on proficiency in Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and RESTful APIs
- Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar event streaming platforms
- Strong experience with React JS and modern front-end development practices
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and reusable component development
- Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
- Understanding of microservices architecture and API-based integrations
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern software engineering practices
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to independently drive technical implementation and collaborate with distributed business and engineering teams
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, information Systems, or related discipline
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tooling
- Experience developing applications in financial services, banking, risk, compliance, or another regulated environment
- Agile/Scrum development experience
