Aquent is partnering with an unnamed leader in the beauty and retail industry to hire a Senior Manager, Finance Transformation & Systems. The role leads finance systems transformation, building Anaplan models and dashboards, supporting SAP implementation and integration, testing financial systems, and improving reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and enhance sophisticated financial models and dashboards in Anaplan to empower planning, reporting, and strategic decision-making
• Collaborate closely with finance and technology teams during a significant SAP ERP implementation, ensuring seamless integration and connectivity between financial planning and reporting processes
• Develop and implement robust Anaplan solutions that ensure business continuity and facilitate a smooth transition between existing and future-state financial systems
• Partner with Financial Reporting and Consolidation teams on high-impact special projects, critical reporting needs, and ad hoc requests
• Lead Anaplan testing activities, meticulously tracking progress, proactively identifying issues, and communicating potential delays to key stakeholders
• Conduct thorough functional testing of SAP capabilities related to financial reporting and systems, guaranteeing accuracy and alignment with business requirements
• Clearly communicate system enhancements, process changes, and implementation updates to finance stakeholders to ensure successful adoption and understanding
• Proactively identify and champion opportunities to streamline financial processes, significantly improve reporting efficiency, and strengthen integration across all finance systems

Skills

• Anaplan Model Builder Certification (required)
• Proven hands-on experience building and maintaining complex financial models and dashboards in Anaplan
• Extensive experience working with SAP ERP systems, including financial processes, reporting, or systems implementation
• Strong understanding of financial planning, reporting, and consolidation processes
• Demonstrated experience supporting finance transformation initiatives, ERP implementations, systems integration, or related projects
• Ability to perform detailed functional testing, troubleshoot complex issues, and validate financial system functionality
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse finance and technology teams
• Experience supporting cross-functional transformation projects and adeptly managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• A detail-oriented approach with a strong focus on process improvement, accuracy, and operational efficiency
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, particularly in finance-related implementations or system transitions
• Proven experience connecting Anaplan planning models with enterprise financial reporting systems
• A background supporting financial reporting and consolidation teams during major systems transformations
• Experience with change management, user acceptance testing (UAT), or finance systems adoption initiatives
