[Remote] Senior or Executive Risk Consultant - Northeast/MidAtlantic Property

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Crum & Forster is a multi-line commercial insurance carrier providing property and casualty insurance solutions. The Senior or Executive Risk Consultant provides prospective and renewal property surveys, property conservation services, risk improvement recommendations, and consultative support to underwriters, claims teams, and clients across the Northeast/MidAtlantic region. The role also leads property risk evaluation, mitigation, client service planning, and loss containment efforts.

Responsibilities

• Provide Middle Market on site prospective and renewal surveys, as well as initiate Property Conservation services to existing clients
• Partner with our underwriters, advancing and growing the successful Property book of business
• Supports client NFPA compliance with focused risk improvement recommendations
• Shape and market the C & F footprint and service portfolio
• There will be some joint visits with Underwriting

Skills

• 12 plus years of experience
• College degree in a related discipline
• Familiarity with usage and applications of NFPA codes and OSHA standards
• NLE and MFL calculations and sprinkler system hydraulic design expertise
• Special hazards Property risk mitigation expertise
• Casualty service consultation skills
• Loss analysis skills and claim root cause identification and address
• CSP/CFPS Certification preferred
