[Remote] Senior Revenue Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Autodesk is undergoing a significant back-office transformation and is seeking a Senior Revenue Analyst to support Revenue Accounting initiatives. The role will guide project teams, participate in user acceptance testing, evaluate revenue recognition and accounting implications, implement compliant processes, and support training and transition to new business models and system flows.

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings to discuss and document project requirements as they pertain to U.S. GAAP, with a focus on Revenue Recognition
• Work closely with your manager to understand operational capabilities and feasibilities of proposals presented
• Perform UAT as well as track and resolve any issues discovered during UAT
• Implement and document processes and procedures as required including SOX compliance and internal controls
• Evaluate accounting implications and confirm we can operationally support operational changes under the provisions of ASC 606
• Provide accounting guidance to project team and developers
• Support broader team in training efforts and overall transition to the new business models and system flows
• Working hours based on PST time zone

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of relevant work experience
• Excellent business acumen with ability to deal with ambiguity
• Effective communication skills and ability to understand and present data
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment across all organizations as well as independently
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with a focus on revenue recognition
• CPA certification or equivalent practical experience
• Experience working with RAR, SAP, and/or Business Objects or other relevant systems
• Proficiency in Excel
• Experience in software or SaaS industry
• Excellent quantitative, analytical and data mining skills
• Enthusiastic and creative with the ability to inspire, influence and encourage others, in both relationships with customers and peers
