Eames Consulting is presenting an opportunity with a remote-first technology company in the specialty insurance space that builds modern, AI-enabled products. The Senior Full Stack Engineer will build customer-facing software, scalable services, intelligent workflows, and AI-enabled capabilities while owning quality, reliability, and production readiness. The role also involves collaborating with product and engineering teams, contributing to technical decisions, and continuously improving development practices.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship customer-facing software, intelligent workflows, and AI-enabled product capabilities
- Design and implement scalable APIs, services, data flows, and modern web applications
- Integrate modern AI capabilities into real customer workflows in reliable, secure, production-ready ways
- Build intelligent capabilities around automation, recommendations, integrations, and operational insights
- Use AI throughout the development lifecycle — from discovery and implementation through testing, debugging, and operations
- Own the quality, reliability, performance, and production readiness of what you build
- Work closely with product and engineering teammates to turn ambiguous problems into working software
- Contribute to technical decisions and continuously improve engineering practices, reliability, observability, and developer experience
- Ship quickly, learn from users and production, and iterate continuously
Skills
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and sound engineering judgment
- Experience building and scaling modern web applications, services, or APIs
- Strong depth in at least one area of the technology stack, with the ability and curiosity to contribute more broadly
- A strong ownership mindset — focused on outcomes rather than simply completing tickets
- Experience working in fast-moving environments where requirements aren't always fully defined
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Comfort balancing speed with quality, security, reliability, and production readiness
- Genuine interest in using AI to improve customer experiences, workflows, and software products
- Interest in using AI not just for coding assistance, but to rethink how software is designed, tested, shipped, and operated
