[Remote] Senior Technical Data Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Patient Advocate Foundation is a national nonprofit organization that provides case management services and financial aid to Americans with chronic, life-threatening, and debilitating illnesses. The Senior Technical Data Analyst will analyze complex data, identify trends, and present findings to support organizational decision-making while improving data collection, management, integration, and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and implementation of a data strategy framework at the enterprise level. This will include different aspects of data strategy such as Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Architecture
• Perform various functions, which primarily involves providing analytic and technical skills necessary to innovate, build, and maintain well-managed data solutions and capabilities to solve business problems
• Conduct detailed data analysis on data used across business units to evaluate business processes and improve on/create new features
• Responsible for developing and executing tools to monitor and report on data quality
• Provide expert review and technical guidance in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new technologies
• Research, design, and implement solutions to improve and enhance current data infrastructure with a focus on integrating data from multiple systems and optimizing data access and reporting
• Design conceptual data models for optimal integration, flexibility, and scalability to meet a variety of business use cases
• Work with data team to provide data solutions, tools, and capabilities to enable self-service frameworks for data consumers
• Serve as an active team member and/or project lead for data-related initiatives

Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis
• Expertise in MS SQL management studio or equivalent software for data querying and processing
• 3+ years of experience working in a senior or leadership role
• Experience working with large and complex data sets
• A high degree of comfort with statistical analysis and modeling techniques
• In-depth knowledge of industry-leading data management standards and concepts
• Working knowledge of big data systems such as Apache Hadoop
• Experience working with an offshore team
