They are seeking a strategic, relationship-driven Senior Workers Compensation Underwriter to manage large accounts and build broker relationships in the Mid Atlantic Region.
Responsibilities
- Underwrite, price and service $500K+ premium Workers' Compensation accounts (think trucking, construction, reputed company, reputed company, Agriculture and other high-severity classes)
- Build and maintain relationships with top retail agencies
- Operate with real decision-making authority—this isn’t a “submit and wait” underwriting role
- Collaborate with a high-tech, high-touch back office including legal, audit, claims and loss control
- 100% remote but travel up to 25% to meet key brokers and drive business growth
Skills
- 5+ years WC underwriting experience either as part of a package or stand-alone basis
- Strong broker relationships—especially in Atlanta
- Confidence managing larger, high-severity accounts
- Someone who loves to win business and has a strong sales/relationship mindset
