Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Carrier is a global provider of intelligent climate and energy solutions. The company is seeking an entry-level Service Engineer to support field teams, develop product knowledge, perform diagnostic procedures, and analyze design or system issues involving HVAC equipment and products.
Responsibilities
- Manages and maintains effective communication with field team members to understand individual support requirements
- Develops knowledge of products
- Performs basic diagnostic procedures and partners with repair technicians to resolve problems
- Analyzes information to help resolve design/system related problems
- May repair, install or design equipment, tools and products
Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in the HVAC industry in a technical support role
- 1+ years of experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to pass an MVR with a Clean and valid driver's license
- Bachelor's Degree from a recognized college or university in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or building HVAC
- Strong problem solving and planning skills
- Ability to read and understand scope of work
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in dealing with a number of simultaneous challenges, requiring knowledge of many different disciplines
- A true team player who has the customer's best interests first and foremost
