The role focuses on deploying and maintaining reliable identity security platforms for SaaS and Cloud Prem customers, monitoring infrastructure, responding to incidents, automating operational work, and providing advanced customer support.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and upgrade our software for SaaS and Cloud Prem customers
- Monitor infrastructure health and performance using Prometheus and Grafana
- Respond to and diagnose incidents, find root causes with engineering, and deliver lasting fixes
- Participate in the on-call rotation, with clean handoffs and post-incident documentation
- Write Python scripts and automation to remove manual operational work
- Create and maintain runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles
- Provide tier 2/3 support and run technical onboarding sessions for customers
- Join customer calls to advise on deployment, configuration, and integration best practices
- Pass customer feedback and feature requests to product and engineering
- Track support metrics and drive operational improvements
Skills
- BS in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering
- Strong Python experience for automation and tooling
- 2+ years working with AWS and cloud automation tools
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Linux, AWS networking (VPC), and Terraform
- Experience with the GitOps deployment model and distributed version control (Git)
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
- Understanding of software configuration best practices
- Excellent communication skills, with patience and empathy for customers
- Comfortable working across time zones to support a global customer base
