The Snowflake Data Engineer with Cortex role focuses on designing and optimizing Snowflake and AWS data workloads, integrating them with Illumio Zero Trust Segmentation, and collaborating with security teams to enforce micro-segmentation and meet compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Integrate Snowflake and AWS data workloads with Illumio Zero Trust Segmentation (ZTS)
- Collaborate with security teams to:
- Enforce micro segmentation policies
- Reduce lateral movement risks
- Meet compliance and audit requirements (SOC2, ISO, PCI, SOX, etc.)
Skills
- Snowflake: Data modelling, performance tuning, Streams, Tasks
- AWS: S3, Lambda, Glue, IAM, networking, security concepts
- SQL (advanced) and Python
- Data Engineering concepts: ETL/ELT, data lakes, data warehouses
- Experience integrating with Illumio or equivalent Zero Trust / micro segmentation platforms
- Strong understanding of cloud security and data compliance
