[Remote] Social Media & Events Assistant Intern

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Center of Hope for Behavioral Health seeks an intern to assist with social media management and event planning. The role supports content creation, fundraising and community events, research, administrative tasks, and coordination with the CEO.

Responsibilities

• Social Media Management: Assist in managing the Center’s social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), including content creation, scheduling posts, and engaging with followers
• Content Creation: Help develop engaging content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, to promote the Center’s mission and events
• Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of fundraising events, community outreach programs, and other special events
• Research: Conduct research on social media trends, best practices, and potential event venues or partners
• Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative tasks related to event planning and social media, such as organizing materials, managing RSVPs, and tracking social media metrics
• Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO to ensure alignment with the Center’s goals and branding

Skills

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program
• Strong familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Creativity and a passion for social media and event planning
• Preferably in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field
• Interest in nonprofit work and mental health advocacy is a plus
