Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Teambuilderz LLC is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications. The role involves translating requirements into solutions, developing RESTful APIs, working with databases and cloud technologies, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable software solutions
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and web services
- Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and troubleshooting
- Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders
- Troubleshoot application and production issues and implement effective solutions
- Improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and security
- Use version control systems such as Git for source-code management
- Contribute to technical documentation and development processes
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Experience with software development frameworks and libraries
- Experience working with SQL databases and database concepts
- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub/GitLab or similar version-control platforms
- Understanding of software testing and debugging practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
