Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Curate Partners is seeking a Software Engineer for a remote contract-to-hire opportunity. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Java applications and cloud-based solutions on Google Cloud Platform, while building APIs, rules-based systems, and production applications. The engineer will collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java
- Develop and support cloud-based solutions within GCP
- Work with JavaScript across application components
- Develop and maintain rules-based systems and business logic using rules engines
- Build and integrate APIs across applications and services
- Troubleshoot, test, and optimize production applications
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle
Skills
- Strong professional Java development experience
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- JavaScript experience
- Experience working with rules engines, business rules, decision engines, or rules-based frameworks
- API development and integration experience
- Experience developing production-level applications
- SQL and database experience
- Experience with microservices and cloud-native architectures
- Healthcare or other highly regulated industry experience
