[Remote] Software Quality Assurance Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. JPS Tech Solutions is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Analyst 3 to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and test suites. The role performs diverse software testing and supports test automation, CI/CD integration, defect resolution, and collaboration with Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and regression suites
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts
• Perform functional, integration, API, regression, UAT, and production validation testing
• Develop automation using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and Jenkins
• Perform API and web-service testing using Postman, Rest Assured, and/or SoapUI
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Execute automated tests in Docker/Kubernetes environments
• Perform performance and load testing using JMeter, Gatling, and/or K6
• Identify defects, perform root-cause analysis, and work with development teams on resolution
• Maintain test environments, test data, and test case repositories
• Develop automated test reporting and improve test coverage and reliability
• Utilize AI-assisted testing tools to improve test coverage and defect detection
• Collaborate with developers, architects, product owners, and QA teams in an Agile/Scrum environment

Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Software QA and Test Automation
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Selenium WebDriver
• Experience developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks
• Strong experience with Jenkins and CI/CD
• Experience with API testing and automation using Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI, or similar tools
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with performance/load testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or K6
• Knowledge of REST/GraphQL, OAuth2, JWT, Swagger/OpenAPI, and web services
• Experience with Git-based source control and CI/CD workflows
• Strong understanding of automated regression testing strategies
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills
• Local candidates in Idaho are preferred
• ISTQB Certified Tester – Foundation Level (CTFL)
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) / Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
• AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certification is a plus
• Experience with AI/ML testing, AI-assisted QA tools, or intelligent test automation is a plus
