[Remote] Sr. AWS Python Developer (Media & Entertainment Domain/OTT)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Enterprise Solutions Inc. is seeking a Senior AWS Python Developer to build and maintain scalable, high-performance, and highly available systems for the media and entertainment/OTT domain. The role involves developing well-tested reusable code, implementing cloud and serverless architectures, following source control and CI/CD best practices, and managing project deliverables and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain highly scalable, high performance and highly available systems
• Write well tested, efficient, and readable code
• The code should also be strongly structured with a view to reusability
• Ensure that all deliverables follow best practices around source control, CICD
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
• Ensure that solutions are in line with the other deliverables of the team and produce documentation so that others learn from and contribute to the work. Attend and contribute to meetings; complete tasks as assigned by supervisor

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in designing and interacting with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB)
• Proficiency building serverless systems with ephemeral compute (e.g. AWS Lambda, ECS) and orchestration (e.g. AWS Step Functions)
• Proficiency building event-driven architectures with message queues, topics
• Proficiency identifying applicability of design patterns and implementing them
• Proficiency using AI assisted coding tools and agents such as Cursor, Claude Code, or CoPilot
• Solid understanding of source control (git), unit testing, test driven development, CICD
• Familiarity with the agile process (stand ups, planning, estimating, and demoing)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• AWS Lambda, Python
• Knowledge of defining, packaging, and deploying cloud resources in CDK strongly preferred
• Knowledge of deploying and managing services in Kubernetes is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of building AI apps on platforms such as Bedrock/Vertex AI/Azure AI and familiarity with frameworks and tools such as LangChain, vector databases, PyTorch/TensorFlow is strongly preferred
• 3+ years writing production code in Python. Familiarity with C# is a plus
• 3+ years of production experience with AWS. Certifications a big plus
• Experience with relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL) a plus
• Experience with media file container formats, media/video engineering a plus
