Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SPECTRAFORCE is seeking a Senior Consultant to support application deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting in a Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4 environment. The role focuses on managing containerized applications, resolving deployment and runtime issues, and collaborating with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and manage containerized applications on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4
- Work with Kubernetes resources, including Pods, Deployments, Services, and Routes, to support application availability and connectivity
- Configure application settings, environment variables, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and other deployment-related resources
- Troubleshoot application deployment failures, container startup issues, networking problems, and runtime errors
- Work with container images, image registries, YAML manifests, Helm charts, and OpenShift templates
- Collaborate with application development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to support application releases and resolve technical issues
- Support deployment automation and CI/CD integration as required
- Follow established deployment procedures, security standards, and operational best practices
Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4
- Experience deploying and supporting containerized applications in OpenShift or Kubernetes environments
- Good understanding of Kubernetes architecture and core resources
- Experience with application configuration, service discovery, networking, and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in YAML-based configuration and familiarity with container images and registries
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Experience with Helm charts and OpenShift templates
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Tekton
- Experience with Docker or Podman and container image management
- Understanding of application deployment automation and release management practices
