Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Farnsworth Group, Inc. is an architectural, engineering, and surveying firm serving transportation and other infrastructure clients. The Sr. Engineering Manager will lead engineering, staff support, and QC/QA for transportation roadway and street planning and design projects while managing teams, client relations, budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Engineer, support, and provide QC/QA for projects related to transportation planning and design
- Develop and mentor staff
- Collaborate with other disciplines
- Develop and maintain Client Relations
- Establish and maintain budgets and schedules
- Work in partnership with leadership and other team members throughout the Transportation Group and Company
Skills
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited Civil Engineering program
- 15+ years of transportation experience with diverse project experience
- Licensed Illinois Professional Engineer (PE)
- Experience working on and with IDOT, County, and Local Agency projects
- Proven leadership skills with engineering staff
- Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Ability to effectively manage clients and deliver successful projects
- Ability to contribute to several projects simultaneously
- Working experience with Microsoft Office and knowledge of MicroStation, CONNECT, and ORD
