[Remote] Sr. Principal Network Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. BayOne Solutions is seeking a Sr. Principal Network Engineer to serve as a technical subject matter expert in a Professional Services environment. The role supports customer data center networking environments through network architecture, Juniper-based troubleshooting, testing, automation, production support, customer advising, and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for data center networking technologies, supporting network design, troubleshooting, testing, documentation, automation, and best practices
• Provide advanced technical support for break/fix issues and production network incidents
• Advise customers on Junos configurations, network architecture, and design best practices
• Support hardware and software testing, validation, and certification activities
• Review network designs and project activities for technical standards and quality
• Collaborate with engineering teams and development partners on complex networking initiatives
• Provide technical leadership across cross-functional projects and programs
• Evaluate and integrate emerging networking technologies into engineering solutions
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, design proposals, and best practices
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers
• Communicate technical architectures and recommendations to customers and senior stakeholders

Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field , or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in data center routing, switching, and network architecture
• Strong hands-on experience with Juniper QFX, PTX, MX, and EX platforms
• Strong knowledge of Junos / Junos EVO
• Experience with Python scripting and network test automation
• Experience with network testing, validation, troubleshooting, and production support
• JNCIE or CCIE certification required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work directly with customers and senior technical stakeholders
